Biography:
Artista Italiano contemporaneo nato il 15 settembre del 1963 inizia la propria carriera nella città natale di Belluno , citta’ vicino a Venezia e Cortina. Si sposta poi ,negli anni,tra New York , Bahamas e Miami fermandosi a vivere tra Verona e Miami.

Biography:
Contemporary Italian artist born the 15th of September 1963 begins the career as an artist in the native city of Belluno, close to Venice and Cortina D’Ampezzo, works in New York, Miami and The Bahamas then open a study and live in Verona. Now he is dividing his time between Miami and Italy where he exhibit at:

CENNI CRITICI
Cenni Critici sull’Opera artistica del Maestro Gracchi in arte Alex Gracchi.
Sogno….Dream …. Cos’è il sogno….
E’ un momento di vita interiore psichica che si crea durante la “pausa” fisica del nostro corpo , durante il sonno.
Ecco è caratterizzato da emozione , percezioni , pensieri, vissuti dal soggetto come reali e che lasciano spesso il ricordo al risveglio.
Ma è veramente sottilissimo , se non esistente, il confine del sogno con l’empirismo (o conoscenza sensibili) aristotelico, per il quale, attraverso il potere “sensorio comune” , i sensi giungono fino alla percezione : la ragione infine interviene sulle percezioni stesse ricavando i concetti.
L’Opera pittorica del Maestro Alex Gracchi è permeata, intrisa di questa concettualità : con una complessa quanto spontanea iconografia vagamente antropomorfa , con l’ausilio di un cromatismo puro, luminoso , essa assuma elementi di magia formale e spirituale.
Alex , in maniera geniale , ha saputo creare delle Entità oniriche, visibili non soltanto dagli occhi fisici ma che penetrano in maniera sublimale, in una sorta di osmosi spirituale, nella psiche e nella mente del lettore.
Le pennellate sensuali, l’uso del colore puro, le forme quasi fluide, liquide, che “gocciolano” verso il baso , lasciandosi dietro formalismi pseudo antropomorfi , tutto ciò dona all’Opera un’aurea di sogno , appunto, di visionarietà che oltrepassa il limite del reale per fluttuare in un limbo onirico nel quale è sublime perdersi.
La validità , veramente geniale dell’Opera di Alex , consiste , come in tutti i veri Artisti , nella novità creativa della sua Arte: Egli ha saputo aggiungere uno scopo e un significato finale ed esaustivo alle ricerche fenomenologiche ed esistenziali de csì detti Artisti dell’informale, come Hans Hartung,JFautrier o lo stesso j Dubuffet, ed ancora come Karel Appel fino nostro Alberto Burri e Lucio Fontana, portando all’estremo il sentire con l’uso di colori contrastanti quanto puliti e definitivi.
Tutto ciò che finora si è cercato di trovare nell’empirismo informale, il Maestro Alex prende consistenza intuitiva e palpitante.
Quasi una vita in nuce , quasi un’eco di culture e di pensieri vissuti , quasi ectoplasmi o fantasmi che assumono emotività e vitalità , rendendo concreto un mondo che è di sogni, di sentimenti visivi e percettibili in una nube di surreale astrazione , distinguendo ed indi fondendo il “noùs poieticòs” aristotelico.
E a suggello dell’ oniricità della sua arte il Maestro Gracchi , in alcune Opere si esprime con aggiunta di quel elemento astrale che è da sempre l’essenza , l’emblema ispiratore e caratterizzante per la sua irraggiungibilità , di tutti i sogni: la luna.
Certamente il Maestro Gracchi Alex , è già entrato nel firmamento dei pochi eletti , di quegli Artisti sublimali che hanno quel gene in più , il gene dell’estrema sensibilità e ricchezza spirituale che permette loro di anticipare, e non di copiare , di proporre e non riproporre, tutto ciò che è messaggio di novità espressiva artistica , che è messaggio di civiltà , che è messaggio di vita.
Sarebbe auspicabile una sua incisiva presenza nel mondo dell’Arte a livello internazionale , come dimostrazione che il Genio italiano è ancora più che mai attivo, più che mai vivo.

About the artistic operas of Maestro Gracchi in Art. Alex Gracchi.
Dreams….Dreams are like this….
It is a moment of interior life, perceptions, thinking, lived by the subject as real and it has a heavy recollection when awaken.
It is very subtle, almost non existent, the end of the dream with the empiricism (or sensible knowledge) Aristotle, by what thru the power “comun sensorial”, the senses arrived till the perception: the reason finally intervenes on the perception itself reaching the concepts.
The pictorial opera of Maestro Gracchi is penetrating, filled of this conceptuality, with a complex though spontaneous iconography vaguely anthropomorphic, with the help of a pure chromatism, enlightened, this assumes elements of formal and spiritual magic.
Alex, in a genious way, has known to create the oneiric entity, seen not only by the physical eyes but, though penetrates in a sublime way, in a sort of osmosis spiritual, of the psyche and the reader’s mind.
The sensual strokes, the use of pure color, the almost fluid forms, liquids, that “happily” toward the base, leaving behind formalities pseudo antropomorphic, all of this gives the Opera a dreamy aura, precisely
of visions that goes beyond the limit of reality to fluctuate in an oneiric limb that is sublime to let go.
The validity, truly genius of the Opera Alex, consist, like in all real artists, in the creative novelty of his Art: he has known to put together a scope and a final significance and exhaustive in the research phenomenological and existentially of such Artists of the informal like Hans Hartung, J Fautrier and the same J Dubeuffet, and still comes Karel Appel till our Alberto Burri and Lucio Fontana, bringing to the extreme the feeling with the use of contrasting colors cleaned and definitive.
All of this that till know had tried to find it in the informal empiricism, Maestro Alex takes intuitive and palpitating consistency.
Almost a life in a nutshell, almost an eco of culture and of lived thinking, almost ectoplasm or ghostly that assumed emotionalism and vitalism, rendering concrete a world of dreams, of visual feelings and perceptible in a cloud of surreal abstraction, distinguishing and still blending the “nous poieticos” Aristotelic.
And as a suggestion of the oniricitaof his art Maestro Gracchi, in some Operas expresses in addition of the astral element that is always the essence, the aspiring emblem and characteristic of his unattainable, of all his dreams, the moon.
Certainly Maestro Gracchi, has entered in the realm of the few elected, of those sublimely Artists that have that extra gene, the gene of extreme sensibility and spiritual richness that allows them to anticipate, and not copying, to propose and not to re-propose, all of that is a message of express artistic novelty, that is a message of civility, that is a message of life.
It would be fortunate his sharp presence in the world of Arts at an international level, as a demonstration that the Italian genius its still more than ever active, more than ever live.
